We believe wholeheartedly that we have been called to move from our seats to the streets to make a difference here in our surrounding community and throughout the city of San Antonio. And one of the ways that happens best is through our Serve Sunday projects.

We've set every 5th Sunday aside (throughout the entire calendar year) to be out in our community doing everything from home makeovers, food distributions, block parties, serving other churches throughout San Antonio, building community gardens for local schools, to adopting multiple homes on a street block and cleaning up their front yards. So instead of have having a regular church service inside of the four walls of a church building, we mobilize our entire church to be the church outside of the four walls. These are by far some of the best Sundays of the year!

And now YOU get to be part of it.

All of this work is made possible by some pretty amazing volunteers (just like YOU) that'll be on site throughout the day.

This Serve Sunday we will be partnering with For San Antonio Ministries, Edgewood ISD, Edgewood Police Department, and the Carver Reed Community Center to make a difference in our city. Meet us at 216 Purcell Street as we organize and clean out the food pantry and clothes closet.

Lunch is always provided for all volunteers.
